Eshet Hail, “the virtuous wife”,
is the Chapter 31 of the Proverbs written By the King Salomon, more than 2500 years ago.
It is a praise of the good wife, a definition of a perfect wife or “ideal woman” in the nation of Israel.
This text is traditionally read by the husband to his wife on Friday evening, before the Kiddush of Shabbat.
The patterns are hand-cut by our favorite artist, Ilan Atlan.
